Recognition of the scientific career of SEPLN retired members at SEPLN 2019

Reconocimiento carrera investigadora.

The SEPLN has the privilege of having researchers who are reaching the end of their career, and who are deciding to retire. Since its contribution and collaboration in the SEPLN, as well as in the national and international community of Natural Language Processing, the SEPLN has recognized the scientific work of three of its partners who have decided to retire at the Conference SEPLN 2019. The awarded SEPLM members are:

  • Horacio Rodríguez Ontoria. He has developed his teaching and research career at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He has an extensive scientific curriculum and he has supervised a significant number of PhD thesis.

  • Arantza Díaz de Ilarraza. She has developed his teaching and research career at the Basque Country University. She founded the IXA research group, and she has an extensive scientific curriculum

  • Lidia Moreno. She has developed his teaching and research career at the  Polytechnic University of Valencia. He has an extensive scientific curriculum with relevant contributions to the Natural Language Processing community.
