Abstract:
In this talk, we will explore imaxin|software's 25 years of experience in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP), and specifically in the development of spell checkers, grammar checkers and machine translation systems. Since our inception, we have worked closely with publishers, media outlets and public administrations, adapting and evolving our technologies to meet their specific needs. We will share our experience in implementing practical solutions and how we have measured translation quality from the user's perspective. We will discuss cases where poor translation has had a significant impact and how we have addressed these challenges to improve the accuracy and usability of our tools. This session is designed to provide a practical overview of our work, highlighting the importance of the applied use of language technologies.

Diego Vázquez is a founding partner of imaxin|software with more than 20 years of experience in the language technology sector.
Director of the in|gaming area of imaxin|software, specialized in the development of educational games and multimedia products from 1997 to 2009. Director of the Marketing and Sales department. He is currently General Manager of the company.
